SEPTEMBER 14 & 19, 2018: College students are invited to register for our next Prize Challenge event offered through a 2-part workshop. Students who are already proficient with SOLIDWORKS or any other CAD program will learn about the engineering design process at the Sea3D Additive Manufacturing Lab in Pensacola, Florida. Three students participating in this workshop will win a $50 gift card if their CAD model is selected for use at ROBOTICON in our wind tunnel testing event. SEPTEMBER 2018: STEMWERX is hosting wind tunnel data acquisition demonstrations at ROBOTICON this year! Come be a mechanic, an engineer or a data collector. These teams will place CO2 cars in our Jet Stream 500 wind tunnel to find the cars with the best aerodynamics along with discovering what feature contribute to the aero efficiency. Science rocks!

OCTOBER 2018: STEMWERX will be supporting an educational effort started by Jeff Andretti! The TEAM STEAM NATION debut event is happening at Verrado High School in Phoenix, Arizona and will feature the MotionSphere along with other hands-on science activities for high school students.
